Earn the relationship.
Keep earning the trust.

Through my experiences in sales, hospitality, and fan engagement, I’ve learned that a thoughtful process, consistency, and a willingness to learn are essential to building strong relationships.

Whether it’s a phone call, meeting, or email, I see every touchpoint as an opportunity to understand someone better and move the conversation forward. I’m developing a consultative sales approach: listen first, understand what matters, and provide a recommendation with a clear reason behind it.

01 / Prepare with purpose.

I aim to enter each conversation with an understanding of who I’m speaking with and a reason for reaching out. Preparation helps me ask relevant questions while staying open to what the person actually needs.

02 / Start with discovery.

A useful recommendation starts with listening. I aim to ask thoughtful questions about someone’s goals, priorities, budget, and timing, then confirm my understanding before discussing options. In sports sales, that means learning whether they’re looking for time with family, a connection to their team, or an opportunity to build business relationships.

03 / Schedule a meeting that matters.

When there’s a reason to explore further, scheduling a meeting gives the conversation a clear next step and dedicated time to understand the opportunity. My goal is to explain why meeting would be useful, agree on a specific time, and confirm what’s important to them.

A brief agenda and calendar invitation help set expectations and respect everyone’s time. Whether it’s a call, a virtual meeting, or a visit to the site, I want the person to know what we’ll discuss and what they can take away.

04 / Connect the value to the goal.

I want each recommendation to reflect what someone has shared with me. That means explaining how an option fits their priorities, welcoming questions, and being honest about limitations. If a concern comes up, I aim to understand what’s behind it before responding, so they can make a confident decision. The goal is helping potential clients find the value in their ROI.

05 / Agree on the next step. Follow through.

I aim to close each conversation with a shared understanding of what happens next, who is responsible, and when we’ll reconnect. That might mean sending relevant information, arranging another conversation, or moving forward with a purchase when the fit is right. Keeping those commitments is how I continue earning trust beyond the initial sale.

06 / Reflect and stay coachable.

My approach continues to grow with experience. I seek honest feedback and look for ways to put it into practice, whether that means asking a better question, explaining an option more clearly, or improving my follow-up. Every conversation is a chance to get better.
